Germany: 65 year old mother of 13 children, gave birth to quadruplets!

A 65 year old woman from Germany gave birth to quadruplets at a clinic in Berlin and became a mother for the 17th time as the RTL television network broadcasted Friday night to Saturday.

This woman who approaches retirement is now the oldest mother of quadruplets, according to RTL.

The babies, three boys and a girl, were born prematurely at 26th week of pregnancy and they are in incubators but they were given “good chances of survival”, said the announcement of the television network.

65 year old Annegret Rauning, professor of English and Russian, is already mother of 13 children and has 7 grandchildren. She was submitted to several artificial insemination treatments in Ukraine, in order to become pregnant again, the last of which was successful.
